Changing Rainfall Pattern in Pokhara Valley, Nepal

 Pokhara valley lies on the southern slope of Annapurna Range in Himalayas, Nepal. The mountain range blocks monsoon originating from Bay Bengal season. Based observed rainfall data 1991 to 2021 AD Department Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), Government Nepal (GoN), this study aims assess monthly, seasonal, annual pattern Pokhara. Trend analysis for as well seasonal monthly was performed a regression method used find rate increase or decrease rainfall. Pre- seasons indicate both an upward downward trend, whereas post-monsoon winter illustrates exact opposite. However, average indicates despite fact that exhibits increasing decreasing trend. According research, there are rising (+ve) falling (-ve) trends different stations. Although stations very near, precipitation varies broadly. Such massive variation within short distance might be due climate change, local wind effects, outflanking hydraulic structures, patterns.
